TSWO History
In November 2007 a small group of Thunderbird owners met to discuss the idea of forming a chapter under Vintage Thunderbird Club International (VTCI). In December 2007 a chapter petition was submitted to VTCI. In January 2008 the club was officially chartered as a chapter of VTCI. In February 2008 the Board of Directors applied for and was granted non-profit incorporation status by the state of Ohio to be known as the Thunderbirds of Southwest Ohio (TSWO). Since then TSWO has functioned as a chapter chartered by and operating under the constitution and bylaws of VTCI and the TSWO chapter bylaws formally implemented in January 2008.
